Hello friends! I am back today with a quick, casual outfit that tackles one of this summers favorite trends - the off the shoulder top trend. So to start off today, I wanted to have a pop of color. So, I naturally gravitated to my Tiffany blue jeans! I got these jeans from Sam's Club and love them! Then to top it off, pun intended, I put on this light grey, off-the-shoulder tee shirt. This shirt is super light weight and has a thin elastic band at the top to keep it up, which is always helpful. I got this shirt from my dear friend Rachel. It is from the GAP! I am not sure whether or not it is meant to be off the shoulder, but I decided that I liked the way it looked so I made it an off the shoulder top! For accessories today, I wore my simple, silver Tiffany heart necklace. This is a tried and true necklace for me. It goes with everything and adds a glint of sparkle to any casual look. On my wrist Ive got my fit bit and Lokai bracelet and on the other, I have my silver Purity bracelet that I was given to me by my dad and I love it. It is very important to me and I think it was the perfect addition to this look because the silver ties in with my necklace. Then, I added my favorite sunglasses. These are from Urban outfitters and I grabbed them because I love the wire rims and the slight tortoise shell detail. I grabbed these because they are a fantastic dupe for the round metal frames from Ray Bans. On my feet, I grabbed my grey Toms! Super easy and very comfortable! I also have my two anklets that I have on all the time. I got the braided one at the Renaissance fair and the white one was gifted to me by my little sister when she was in Haiti. So in conclusion, regarding this summers hottest trend, I am all for it! I think that this trend is great because you can wear it dressy, or casual like I am today! Alright guys, I know this was a casual outfit today but I hope that maybe one of you is now interested in trying this trend! I will see you all very soon! Much Love!

Hello friends and thank you for coming back! Today I wanted to do a quick little blog post on this casual outfit that I put together for a coffee date with my sweet bff Sara, a.k.a. "S". I based this outfit off of a pair of shoes that I recently got at the Mason Jar Boutique! It's an adorable boutique near my home in Phoenix but you can also shop online! They just recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary and I love being able to support smaller businesses! I love these shoes because of the color for one. I mean show me some Tiffany Blue and you know I am on it! Also, I love this fun aztec looking print on them and the espadrille bottoms! I think that they are the perfect slip on for summer! They're casual but can add a lot of personality and color to a very simple outfit, which is what I did today! I tried to link these to this post so that you guys could get your hands on a pair of them but it appears as if they are an in store only product! If you're in the Phoenix area go in and check them out and if not, look at all the other adorable things they've got on their website at: shopthemasonjar.com. As far as jewelry goes, I kept it very simple for this look. I added my gold Kate Spade bow ring to a cute little arrow midi ring that my sister got me. I also paired a few of my favorite gold "Alex and Ani" bracelets but foolishly forgot to photograph them! The drink in my hand that is pretty much gone in this picture is an iced mocha from "Lux Central". If you're looking for a cute coffee shop in downtown Phoenix, check out Lux! I also HIGHLY recommend their coffee cake (S does too!). They have great hours and such a cool, hipster-esque vibe! I will put a map of the location so that you guys can go check it out! Back to the outfit! I paired my cute new slip ons with a flow, lace top that I got back in March at a small boutique in Oxford, Mississippi! My sister and I were visiting my grandparents for spring break and we went into town one day to shop around with our Gran. As we walked past this boutique, MissBehavin', we noticed they had a clearance rack outside. I noticed this shirt and after seeing that it was only $10, I knew I had to grab it. It was however see-through, so I found a strapless came to pair under it and it is now one of my favorite shirts. I love it because it is not too fancy, but can dress up a pair of jeans nicely. And I am always in for a bargain so for $10 I thought it was perfect! I then chose to throw on some light wash denim. These are my current favorite jeans and I am sad to say that after we took these pictures, they ripped and I had to throw them out! So I am currently on the hunt to get another pair. They are "Kensie" jeans that I got from TJMaxx, fave store by the way. I cuffed them, as I do with pretty much all of my jeans unless they're covered by boots. I chose a light wash denim because I think with the brightness of the shoes and the white top, dark denim would have been too stark a contrast and would have made the outfit look darker. Since it is still summer, I wanted this outfit to be light and flowy and not dark. On my right ankle I have two anklets that are very special to me. I know they're hard to see but, I wanted to mention them anyways. The brown one is a braided cord that I got at the Arizona Renaissance fair earlier this year. I have one and one of my close friends up at school in Flagstaff has a matching one. The white one is brand new and was gifted to me by my sweet little sis who got it while she was just in Haiti doing missions work. I am currently loving the look of anklets but more importantly love having two people that I care about with me all the time. Finally, to top off this outfit I grabbed my Urban Outfitters sunglasses that I got in NYC this past May! I am a huge fan of these glasses because they have similar shape to the new Ray Bans but were about 75% cheaper! They were $14 and I love them! My advice with sunglasses is to buy cheaper versions of the shape you like. I always end up breaking or losing mine so $14 isn't too much of a financial loss if they get ruined! I tried to find these on Urban's site but it looks like they're out of stock so I found some that are similar for the same price if you like them! And lastly, but by no means least, here are some of my favorite pictures of my sweet friend/ camera woman for the day Sara! I hope that you guys enjoyed this casual look that I put together!
