Hello friends and welcome back to a look into my Summer NYC trip! This is going to be pictures from the last days of our trip where we took the train out to Northport, Long Island. This is where my mom grew up and I love getting to go out and see where she grew up and getting to experience her life! I am just going to post pictures that will show traditional New York bakeries, Carvel ice cream, old friends, and just the fun that we had on Long Island. I hope you like the pictures! Liv and I also had to do a little photo shoot in our matching shirt on our very own "river court" (One Tree Hill reference) Then it was time for me and my beautiful momma to head home. New York has a special place in my heart and I get the opportunity to go back for a class this summer! If you liked these posts and want me to post about my trip this summer, let me know by commenting or reaching out on my social media!
Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me and I will see you soon! Truly, Taylor

Hello everybody and welcome back to day 2 of my summer trip to New York! During Day 2 Alivia and I went on the Gossip Girl tour! It fulfilled my every dream and I was living! I sat on the MET steps, Spotted: Nate Archibald's house and saw where Serena returned to New York! To top it off, I was able to see and go into the Empire and I truly felt like Blair Waldorf! This was definitely a highlight of the trip and I truly felt like an upper east sider! Tune in for our last days of the trip where we went to Northport, Long Island where my mom grew up!
XOXO Taylor ;) Hello friends and welcome back! Over the summer I went to my favorite city in the world, New York City! I completely intended to do daily blogposts on my days in the city but the trip just kept me occupied and I honestly kind of forgot about it when I got back because I was focused on starting school! Anyways, I loved this trip and wanted to document it for my own purposes and I thought you might like to see it too! Here is some pictures from our first day after traveling! We got to our hotel the night before and then did some shopping. During our first day we went shopping in Times Square and down 5th Ave, went to the Plaza, had lunch at my favorite pizza shop (John's Pizza - AMAZING), and spent some time in Tiffany & Co. That evening we went to see Wicked on Broadway and it honestly changed my life! Let's start with the hotel. We stayed at the Gregory hotel, a beautiful, boutique hotel only a few blocks from Times Square. I loved it and its vintage feel. It was in the fashion district so it had many features that embodied that, which of course I loved. We got a great deal on it since we used a third party site to book and if you're headed to the city, I definitely recommend it! Next up, We went to time square and had Pizza at John's. John's is right off Time Square and it is my favorite pizza in the world! If you're in the city, you must try it! Next stop, 5th Avenue! Our next stop checked off an item on my bucket list... going to the Tiffany & Co. flagship store. It was right across the street from Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Henri Bendel, and Bergdorf's. Needless to say, I was in heaven! I stood at the same window as Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and I was in love! After I gathered myself from Tiffany's, we walked across the street to the Plaza hotel and my childhood dreams came true in the Eloise store in the basement! Then we took a stroll in Central Park and I got to watch where Chuck and Blair got married! #spotted After coming back from the park, we got ready for a night on Broadway! Before the show we stopped and had dinner at Stardust diner, a diner where actors and actresses sing to you while they wait on you! Our last stop of the night was to Black Tap bar near the High Line for Instagram's craziest milkshakes! The milkshakes are amazing and I recommend going at least once, but be prepared for a waiting line and a $15 dent in your pocket! And that concluded our first day in Manhattan! I had the best day and while it was long, it went by in a New York minute! Stay tuned for day 2!
Truly, Taylor Hey all! I am so sorry that I have been absent for so long. School has been keeping me very busy! But, I had some free time today so I decided to take some time and write a few blog posts! This past spring break my sister and I travelled to Mississippi to spend time with my grandparents. They live in a small town on a family farm with lots of land. Reag and I spent time baking and playing cards and riding the quads on the family land. I had the best time and it was amazing to spend some one on one time with my sister since I moved away to college. While we were there, my Gran asked us to take pictures of spring on the farm for her house! we took a ton of pictures and it was such a fun assignment to run around the farm trying to get the best shot. While we did spend a lot of time on the farm, we got to go into town and do some shopping! While on our Mississippi trip, we also got to spend the evening in Memphis, Tennessee. We ate at the "Rendezvous", a very famous Memphis barbecue joint and got to see the ducks at the Peabody hotel! One of the absolute highlights of our trip was taking a trip to the Farmer's Market. While there, we saw so many puppies that Reag and I could not contain our excitement. If I remember correctly, Reagan counted a total of 37 puppies! These yellow labs were some of our favorites because we love out labs at home! Overall, I had ana amazing time with my grandparents and my great aunt and sister! I love my family so much and it was so refreshing to take some time off to relax and be with them!
Thanks for sticking around and bear with me as I try to find time to put into this little hobby of mine! Much Love Truly, Taylor |
